Yasmin and ECG

Yesterday Yasmin had an ECG (everything us fine; the doctor wanted to
check up on a murmur which is completely innocent). Yasmin quite
enjoys visiting doctors. She is so cooperative and always has lots to
talk to them about.
This visit really amused her. She hardly stopped smiling the whole
time. She thought it was halirious that he was putting all these
stickers on her. See huge smile in photo for proof.

Tall children

I have tall children. Maya is 111.5cm tall, and Yasmin is 115.5cm tall. This is with shoes, though, so perhaps knock off a centimeter if you really want.

Maya has a wobbly tooth

For some reason, this makes me very emotional indeed.

How they have grown

Etty found some old old clothes. What Yasmin is holding is what she
wore when she was born. It now fits her doll very nicely.

Daddy's birthday

Today is my 25th birthday. At least that is what I told my children
and they don't know any better. Here is my birthday cake. It was
delicious.

I had a free half hour so I put some more photos up. Mostly of the girls' birthday celebrations at their respective gans.

Maya never wants babies

Maya never wants to give birth. She told me this the other day. She said it means you have to go to hospital and that they have to open your tummy to put the baby in. For her, that is a scary thought.

Yasmin the Stick

Yasmin is a little bit ill. She fell asleep at gan yesterday before Beverlyn the Babysitter could get there to pick her up early.

Anyway, after another dodgy night's sleep, she woke up this morning and told me that she feels like a stick because it hurts all over.
